OK, where to begin. I did not blog much last week b/c I had no internet. The wireless internet that I had been using was no longer giving me a signal, so we decided it was time to do the right thing and order our own. Three months was a good run.
That did not give me a chance to reflect on Day 2 of the Bears draft. I hated it, there are about 2 GM's who know what they are doing consistently, Pittsburgh and New England. I was more pleased with the guys we signed after the draft as free agents.
- Dion Byrum, CB, Ohio University
Baller who single-handedly beat Pitt last year, (returned 2 INT's for touchdowns) and he went to OU!
- Tim Day, TE, Oregon
We desperately needed a TE and this guy is a steal.
- Josh Huston, K, some college in Columbus
Apparently this kid, who was considered the #1 kicker in the draft, goes undrafted and called the Bears. "I only want to play for you" It is too bad he didn't go to a better college
We watched School of Rock last night, that movie is easily in my Top 10...
I started a new course this past Thursday that lasts for 6 weeks. He read to us from 36 Powerpoint slides for 4 hours, pray for me...
